Definition - Microsoft Office Publisher (previously and commonly known as Microsoft Publisher) is a desktop publishing application from Microsoft. It is an entry-level desktop publishing application, differing from Microsoft Word in that the emphasis is placed on page layout and design rather than text composition and proofing. Microsoft Publisher 2007 provides simple story editing with Microsoft Word 2007, but unlike Adobe InDesign & Adobe InCopy, it does not provide built in XML story board and copy-editing support. Also, unlike the core Office 2007 applications, it does not feature the Ribbon user interface.
We were assign to try out the apps and i come out with a name card a cover page for my portfolio.. This apps provides us with unique layout for different objective such as creating heading for mail, name card, quotation and etc. i found out that the apps is friendly user and easy to be learned by anyone. Before this, i never try out the apps but during the class we were exposed to it and actually it do helps.
